JAF

JAF was established in July 1942, before World War II, originally founded as Hokoku Jyusho Kogyo Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of bicycle bearings and freewheels.

In 1960, under an agreement with Sweden’s SKF, the trademark was changed and registered with the patent office as “JAF.”

In the same year, JAF became a member of the Japan Bearing Association, the predecessor of the Japan Bearing Industry Association.

In 1969, the Mie Aoyama Plant was established in Aoyama Town, Naga District, Mie Prefecture, and began producing ball bearing units.

JAF bearings are known for their high quality, precision, durability, and cost performance. They are widely used across various industries, including automotive, aerospace, electric power, steel, petrochemicals, and machinery manufacturing.

Key products include: single-row/double-row ball bearings, deep groove ball bearings, tapered roller bearings, spherical roller bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, thrust ball bearings, pneumatic components, and more.

JAF also manufactures many special bearings and supports small-lot production to meet customer needs.
