This is an environmentally friendly lead-free self-lubricating metal polymer bearing that does not require additional lubricant. It combines the low friction characteristics of a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) bearing surface with the superior strength and dimensional stability of a metal backing. Bearings with a diameter of less than 10 mm can be produced with a wall thickness of 0.5 mm. This enables more compact and lightweight designs for solenoid valves and other applications.

This bushing not only has excellent tribological properties that maximize the high strength, dimensional stability and other properties of metals, but is also water-resistant, making it ideal for underwater applications.

This product uses environmentally friendly lead-free materials. A copper-tin alloy is sintered onto a steel backing, while the bearing surface is a mixture of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and special fillers. It combines the low friction characteristics of a bearing surface with the superior strength and dimensional stability of a steel backing. Even with high-precision machining of the bearing inner diameter, sufficient resin depth is maintained to achieve low friction.
