Self-aligning ball bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls with a common concave spherical raceway on the outer ring. The bearings are therefore self-aligning and are not affected by misalignment of the shaft relative to the bearing housing. Particularly suitable for bearing applications where considerable shaft deflection or misalignment may occur. Furthermore, self-aligning ball bearings have the lowest friction of all rolling bearings and can maintain low temperatures even at high speeds.
